2/4 -- Should I just be jacking this in?
5 handed, effective stacks $450. My image is probably pretty aggro pf, but in-line post flop. Villain is in the SB and seems pretty tight and passive thus far.
I raise AKQ9 with nut diamonds out of the BB (good raise?) over an UTG limp -- UTG calls and villain in SB calls. Pot is $48, flop is Q92 with 2 hearts and a club -- I have no clubs or hearts. SB checks, I lead for $40, UTG folds, and then SB check raises me full pot to $166. I was pretty scared at this point because like I said before, he was playing pretty tight and passive. I thought my equity would be pretty bad vs his range if I just jacked it in right here, so I peeled a turn card looking for something blankish. Is this a good idea? Turn is Jc for a board of Q92J with two fds. He jams, and I fold. How'd I do? |
