I dont see why this subject is funny to some posters.

My advice is, only play in well organized games. These kind of things shouldn't happend, ever. I host a homegame and at first we had pretty open rules about the money, but at times the money didnt always add up excatly (there was like 5-10 bucks or so missing couple of times). As a host of the game I paid for the missing money, but decided that we will switch to much more strict system regarding the money, and it works very well. Only one person can touch the money and the chips, and we usually write down every buy in and rebuy to make sure everythiing adds up.
