[/ QUOTE ] HAND 2: Can you explain why you want to raise his flop bet. I thought about this as well but came to the conclusion that calling is probable best. But I'd be curious if you'd want to explain more. Here are my thoughts: - UTG is still left to act...yikes. - If we raise and get called our Ace is no longer likely good. - If we raise and get pushed on, depending on who does the pushing, we'll likely have to fold. - We're getting a good price to draw and DON'T want to raise out a lower flush draw. - If villain has middle pair or less, we still have over 50% equity, so I'm fine with taking a passive route (not sure if this makes sense, but it does in my guy somehow...not sure what that means...meh). |
