NL 25: What\'s up with all these min 3-bets pf and minraises?
Seriously, what's up with this? Preflop, it seems to mean anything. Some people will do it with K/10, and some will do it with AA (seemingly because they've been taught to 3-bet aces preflop).
On the flop, I get minraised very often. Sometimes this just means "Hey, I am testing you!" But other times, it is a real sign of strength... Do these people just not know how to bet? For example (I have a very agressive table image, so I feel like the person here was trying to tell me "i'm sick of your cont bets, I am going to raise to indicate strength but minraise because i don't actually have anything") PokerStars No-Limit Hold'em, $0.25 BB (5 handed) Hand History Converter Tool from FlopTurnRiver.com (Format: 2+2 Forums) MP ($48.65) Button ($29.10) SB ($2.90) BB ($14.15) Hero ($34.10) Preflop: Hero is UTG with T[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img], T[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]. Hero raises to $1, 3 folds, BB calls $0.75.
