When you start in Woburn/Anderson (I think this is the only stop in Woburn), you want to be looking at the 'inbound'. When you're in Boston getting back to Woburn, you'll want the 'outbound'.

The times read down leaving from North Station, so if the train leaves North Station at 12:10, it gets to Woburn at 12:35.

Also, you can buy commuter rail tickets on the train from the conductor, no need to get them ahead.
