the fact that mexico is making you spend 80% of your roll makes my head asplode. Cheapest place to vacation ever, as long as you arent a [censored] moron and go to an all inclusive 5 star scamfest. Group of friends and I went there few years back, spent $200 each for a week in a three story house/2 1 story offshoot apt built into the side of a mountain in Puerto Vallarta, proceeded to buy a pound of weed (not mexican dirtweed) for 80 bucks when we thought we were getting an oz (our spanish was bad lol). Seriously, mexico is cheap, and beautiful as long as you use your head.

I'm actually the exact 180 of your situation. I spend the whole year building up my "roll".

That way I can cash most of it out to take my GF Diving in Mexico for a couple weeks.

Then I come back and start on the sit and go's, MTT's and grinding small stakes for the next vacation.

I play poker to improve the quality of my life. Maybe not a high roller by any means, but the last 3 vacations have been 100% top shelf and funded by OPPL. [Other People's Poker Losings]

Maybe someday I'll get serious about Poker, but for now who cares.
