Why doe sthis happen to me EVERY GODDAMM TIME???
 

This isnt really poker related but it [censored] me off anyways. Every time I look like building a roll life just kicks me in the balls.

Played some pretty [censored] poker for a year or two then got coached earlier this year and absolutely crushed NL100 for a while and built roll upto c~$5k. Then got bent over for a decent sized RB payment from Party (did I mention that?- FU Party!) and it was all loking good. Then financial doom kicked in and many, many expenses that were completely unforecast (bank withdrawing my overdraft etc) meant almost all of roll was cashed out to stay solvent.

Anyway, after a couple of months or so scratching around being broke (I just CANNOT grind complete micro stakes- it makes my head explode) and I do a few casino bonuses, I eventually get a decent roll together for NL100 and begin to kill again at a new site and then WHAM gf goes berzerk. Shes like 'you said you would take me on holiday this year, blah blah blah.. you always break your promises....' So anyway, I have to go to Mexico for 2 weeks in this all inclusive 5 star place which is basically costing me like 80% of my roll. (Maybe a brag??). Ok, we'll go on a holiday but why does it have to be SO [censored] EXPENSIVE?!!?!? I don't think she realises im not a high stakes mega balla

The though of having like a $700 roll and playing NL50 again after destroying NL100 for mega amounts of hands makes me wake up in a cold sweat.

Goddammit.
