Re: Do you call this push from big stack? 55 speed
This seems like a very easy fold to me.

Okay, so what hands do you want to see him turn over when you call, except x-2?

Re: Do you call this push from big stack? 55 speed
I'm happy to see any hand I beat. The problem I am having in looking at this hand is the probability of me doubling up now with a decent hand worth the risk of busting when I am the shorstack and will basically be forced into a hand in 2 hands.
Because I would estimate 90% of the time that typical scenarior will be fold, then folded around next time and I will have to face the big stack with a random hand when it is my bblind. So is it better to take my chance now when I am very likely ahead? Or hope that someone does something stupids and knocks themselves out in the next 2 hands. |

[ QUOTE ]
Are there ANY hands you would like him to show, aside from x-2? [/ QUOTE ] Don't be silly. He has 2.5 BBs left. How often do you think he's going to be able to limp into the money if he folds? 60% of the time? For example, A2s vs K9o is 61.48%. You wouldn't be thrilled with that? If he calls and wins, he more than doubles up, and the BB is crippled after he gives up his BB. I'd guess he'd cash 90+% of the time....and he won't be limping in with 25 chips. He'll have a good shot at 2nd or even 1st. ICM can't account for these high blinds, but use some common sense. |

Shameless bump to see if any non-weekend person had any thoughts on this hand. Thanks.

Re: Do you call this push from big stack? 55 speed
I actually don't think this is an easy fold. If you fold here, you are basically giving up any chance of getting 1st or 2nd. Now that would be fine and dandy if you are guaranteed a 3rd. But you aren't, the BB can still find/get lucky with a hand when the time comes. He also only needs to win once in order to basically shut you out of the tournament (unless of course, you get lucky too (which usually doesn't happen for 2+2ers)). So I would actually call, even though this is a hard call.
