Yuck, his small bet is wierd, but hes good, i played with him last FTOPS i think. I think you see a set often, but also TT/ JJ that hes leading/folding. Your Deep enough to raise/fold. A Call isnt out of the question either.

Ugh...small bet looks like either a blocking bet with a draw, or a raise-inducing bet with a set. I don't think it's TT/JJ too often.

If he's got a combo draw, I doubt you're getting him out with a reraise...much as it blows, I think I actually prefer a call here. Tell me I'm wrong?

All I know is, with AA here you do NOT want to play a big pot, so play for pot control and hope the turn bricks off.

The more I think about it, his line is a great line to enduce a re raise from an overpair to shove a big draw, as it of often mixed in the range with sets. Although I wish he would bet half pot at least this is too small of a bet, or either it's such a small bet if he gets flat called he is getting a good price with a big draw.

He's really open-limping 99/TT/JJ?

I don't see why not.

He's happy to 3-bet all-in with his entire range, and I think we're ahead of his range.

It's marginal, and so maybe this is one of those pass-up-a-marginal-spot-in-an-MTT things, but I think people usually grossly overestimate the importance of that.

His range is like 66/77 (less weighted because he's probably open-limping this less than the proceeding hands), two-pair, pair+OESD (incl 88 - weighted less), pair+FD, FD.

Someone can Stove it to make sure, but I'm pretty sure we're ahead of that. And it helps that we don't have the Ah here.

The reason I am more leaning towards playing a small pot is b/c the villian is an utg limper. 99/77/66 is soooooooooooo much more likely to want to b3bai than a combination of hearts or 88/TT/98/87/86, or a straight flush draw, and why would we want to get all in on the flop vs. a sfd? I just think this is a set when you get all in way more than it is a random combo draw.

I see no reason to assume he's open-limping 66/77/99 with much frequency since he's apparently a good player and stacks are fine for opening there.

That's fine then, but I just hate putting in a ton of chips/my tournament life on the line in such marginal spots where I have to fade these huge draws early(if he doesn't have a set here) so to me it feels like gamble vs. a draw or get alot of money in with few outs.
