Default Nl50 flop pair and a flush draw in 3 bet pot

Villain leads flop for 7 dollars am I best to just call on the flop or is this definetely a jam type flop for my hand?

If you raise, he calls/pushes with AK or AQ and folds KK, QQ. So, if called you are a 2:1 dog.

I call as you can fully expect to make enough on the turn/river if you hit your flush to make it +EV (another $11 ish). ALso, he will often give up if he bet the flop without an Ace - so you don't necessarily lose every time you miss the flush.

i call here as well. but i dont think pushing this thing is so bad either. we win a big one a little more than 40% of the time and you could fathom some players folding even AK or AQ here. but unless you have a read here such as that i think its more +EV to call it and see what comes next.

I agree with your rational but we're nowhere near a 2-1 dog if we get all in.

You can apply some pressure. You are nearly 50/50 against a better aces. 11 outs twice gives you something like 47% equity in that spot if he's holding AK without Kh..
