[ QUOTE ]
One guy on another thread said when he sucks out on a huge pot against someone he can't stand, he says "pass the sherbert, herbert". That cracked me up.

[/ QUOTE ]

That's interesting.

Where I play, the expression is "Pass the sherbert to Herbert." But it doesn't put anybody on tilt.

i have been arguing for years now about saying

"I forgive you"

after they suck out on me, it implies that they suck and im better?

I'm ready for a new variation on 'i'm counting your chips' for the next time i hit the wynn: (only to be used if someone's berating goes beyond one snide comment)

glare intently and look through your chips, pick your head up looking confused and say: "sorry, just trying to figure out which of these used to be yours"

I think it was determined in a similar thread that the nut thing to say when someone starts berating you online is "lol outplayed." Almost no berater is immune to this classic.

You can say anything you want. After one bad beat if you follow it up with a remark they will tilt. There's really nothing that won't tilt someone. Even "sorry" will work -- but I prefer "well played".

Holocaust jokes. Especially if a lot of your opponents have big noses.

After you make a thin call against a player wearing sunglasses ... "I would have folded, but your blue blockers kept me from reading you."

(Can only be used after a thin suckout saves you against a big pocket pair or obvious top pair) To the typical ABC-poker tighty old guy who never bluffs: "I thought you were bluffin'," as you rake the pot. Drives them crazy, and they often protest: " I never bluff." To which you must respond: "I know. But I thought you were that hand."
