i think the only thing you would need to know the "effective stakes" for is bankroll considerations. assume a 1/2/4 plays the same as 2/4, etc.

otherwise, raise enough or as little to get your desired result (find it out through math and/or experimentation). similarly, call/raise/fold if you have x or y pot/implied odds.

why does this matter really? you wondering what the br requirement is? if people are making it 25 to go and stacks are 250-1500 then you're playing like an online 3/6. the 250 stacks should typically be short stacked relative to the pot on the flop, and 1500 should be deep

but you already knew that so many people are turned off by 2p2 so why'd you bother posting and if you want advice in the future it might be nice to use some punctuation because its hard to see what youre writing when you jsut spew out words that really dont make any sense and you didnt explain yourself and you didnt ask why you are wondering about what the stakes are which is important because we might have tailored our answers to your question if we knew why you were asking in your huge run on sentence of an original post which made no sense and theres a straddle to 30 and blinds are 1/2 and some people buyin for 250 but others buyin for 1500 so i dont know what the stakes are what do i buy in for what are the stakes btw where does lolo play and what is his sn!

i would think that it would have a lot to do with the opening raise preflop, the number of people that see the flop, size of flop bets, etc. in relation to the stacks. Compare these things to an online game and if the opening raise is big compared to stacks you should play tighter preflop, and your play is basically more restricted, more like a tournament.
