I dont do this when I have shown so much strength preflop.
Say I just raised in the SB vs his BB. Then I'd look for a sexy. When 3-betting preflop people tend to check more as they just wanna see a SD. Say he has JT. Then he will think you have QQ and KK a lot and not bet. In my example where you just open raised your range is wider and there is more value in a bet for him. Something Yourface have made me think about. |

If he has JT he may not even call the river anyway (I know lol but think about it he's never good when we bet). He has an Ace a lot, this sexy is borderline standard imo.

I think the only hands he calls with here are aces that I beat - hands that he will also v-bet vs my "obv" KK/QQ/TT if I check the river.
All other hands are folding if I bet and checking behind if I check. idk... chez plays so perfectly against me, I think he might even fold AT / AQ to a river c/r. |

Oh yeah good points about JT
Folding JT here never entered my mind. lol Well in that case I certainly like a c/r a lot more. What about KK and QQ. Chez folding those as well? noo? EDIT: But he is capping them preflop . I need to go to bed If he folds AT, AQ to a c/r then it doesnt do you any good efficacy. In particular if he cks behind QQ, KK that might would have called a bet. On the other hand. c/r here is good for metagame. It might buy you some free SD's OOP with KK, QQ in other spots like this. |

i think the answer depends on whether chez will call your c/r if he has a weak ace.
if he will, then we only need him to bet half as often as he calls your bet. i think he has a weak ace that he plays wa/wb here often enough. |
