havent played in awhile so im pretty rusty. co is 30/12/4.5 but is probably self taught and plays like a bad lag postflop. he overplays his hands and pays off lightly. he bet both streets fairly quickly and i really ahve a feeling he has a big hand but i think he'd play any ace the same way and will probably call a shove

i didnt c-bet because i liked my draw but the pot was already big and i didn't want to get raised and have to fold it. if i had a combo draw or NFD i would bet it and gladly shove over a c/r. my hand is also disguised this way and the pot is not too huge if i hit a Q or J

josh i like your thinking but also note you gain deception by checking flop behind - deception that lets you raise river OR turn and get paid off much lighter.
if you know he's betting most rivers, sure, but i think the check flop behind/raise turn line will confuse him so much you'll get a ton of calls. raising the river also looks fishy but he can never put you on a semibluff. even if your line looks suspect, it's still in the end going to almost always be a very good hand played non-standard rather than a bluff. |

Yeah, I don't think the turn call is especially awful, as long as you expect him to bet the river most times. River shove is obv as everyone else said.

i think flop bet and turn raise are option but not necessities. turn call is especially good if the sb with lots of hands he is drawing dead with. river is obv ez shove, worse flushes, ax, maybe even worse stuff is paying off. your line is probably pretty trixy from his pov and given description he's definitely not giving you a lot of credit.
