And what do you do with the 99 here? Do you generally believe people when they make comments like this, or do you think they're typically just trying to talk you out of making a move? |

I would fold both of these spots actually, the short stacks are at like 2BB. No reason to flip, hand 1 not being as bad as hand 2 where he even says he will call.
Edit: If instead you were the larger of the two stacks both would be pushes. I don't think bullying as the 2nd largest stack is correct though. |

I would be a chicken [censored] and fold both of them.
Turn chat off so you dont have to worry about talking fish. Distracts you from fishing. |

#1 is only good if you think you have a lot of fold equity. #2 I'm always folding, regardless of chat.
It's pretty sick how tight oyu have to be in spots like this. |

do you fold or flat call that raise most of the time? if he's very agg. in position that's probably a fold from me (around 80/20, but i am sticky when it comes to actual situation some times), alas against a mod. agressive player i guess you could flatcall and lead out on a good flop, folding to a reshove (you still have around 4k left if you do that and are in no danger at all to bust and you're most likely gonna be HU with him anyway so you need to start chipping away). is this such a bad line?

I don't think I push either one of these. You're playing with fire. Who's the villian?

In my observation, people are generally telling the truth.
I think I shove hand 1, fold hand 2 given stacks, comment and a shorty w/ 3 BB left |

CO said, "calling if you push this time chip," "don't particuarlly want to flip for these stacks, but go ahead if you wanna" [/ QUOTE ] I fold by default, but I may call because of his chat. Typically players do not do this when they have a monster holding. Think about it. Why would I want to discourage you from pushing if I held a monster? |
