Villain plays like a reg but I only have 200 hands on him...he is 18/9/6. Folds BB to steal 50%, raises cbets a decent amount.

fold BB to steal stats useless with 200 hands.
I like PF against any opponent. I think flop lead is standard, his flop raise could easily be a wide range of hands. He may be trying to outplay another regular who is tryin to 'steal' his blind and outplay him. I think he can make this minraise with any pocket pair. Extremely unlikely he has 33 or TT, so I def continue with the hand altho being OOP here sucks. I just wrote a big explanation for just calling on the flop and seeing a turn cheap, then I realized my logic is faulty. I like your raise here, but maybe just to 100. It is going to be difficult to continue even if you pick up a Q or J since youre OOP. A spade on turn and I think you have to go broke, but that is only happening 25% of time. So basically just calling sets you up OOP in a decent sized pot with a very shaky holding. I raise flop, that will shut him down if he's posturing, if he raises I def pitch it. |

TBH Id probably shove any two here cause your line looks exactly like a bluff. What other hands(besides this) would you play like this?

[/ QUOTE ] this is useless unless he knows it... his perception >>>> reality often I just call here... if I want to take it away I can checkraise turn, or if he checks behind turn then I can bomb the river... makes it hard for him to win if he has air and it looks a lot more convincing. Or sometimes I might just give it up on the turn if I don't improve... |

So what I'm saying is even if he suspects I am making a move playing back at me with ATC is pretty spewy. |

I think I like just calling his flop raise, because 3-bet here looks so much like a bluff.
If you get aggresive on the turn you can represent a big hand much more convincingly. |

hm good point saber, assuming villian is really that 'meta'. He only has 200 hands on him, he could have been slapped in face with a ten or other holding he going to defend. I think u have to find that out on flop.
