Re: $100nl: Worst possible river for KK
if you check the river you should call to snap off things like 76 and vbet from KQ and such..... it's hard to put him on an ace except for AQ..... he rarely has a bdf
since he is quite aggro, i think check call is superior to bet fold an oesd did hit, but i still think you're ahead of his range |

Re: $100nl: Worst possible river for KK
Raise more preflop
you have a top pair hand that plays better heads-up and can be tough to play out of position On turn, I likely bet smaller or check I don't want to near the commitment threshold quite yet There aren't many scare cards that can hit the river (runner runner flush???) Basically, by the turn you either have him in a bad way or he has you (ie sets) If he calls a big bet (like he did), you've now committed 1/3 of your stack and are in a tough spot I would've led out $22 or so on the turn, or checked |

Re: $100nl: Worst possible river for KK
checking turn is bad imo, there's just too much value left, also i would bluff the Q so often, that a bet w/ KK is very useful here.... i would have made it smaller though
also there's 2 oesds, a double gutter, and some gutshots on the flop that hit a donkey blind defense range, so you def. want to keep charging draws on the turn with a bet |
