Re: $2/$4 - facing shortstacks donkbet
In my experience, usually when he bets $12 here he's weak and when he bets $64 here he's "strong". I put strong in quotes because sometimes he isn't that strong, but I think his range is at least one that AK is behind and you have no FE.
So I'd fold. |

Re: $2/$4 - facing shortstacks donkbet
If his range has a bunch of flush draws + pairs like 8x, 44-77, plus sets, you're about 38%.
If his range is more weighted towards 8x, your equity gets substantially worse. I don't think you're ever better than about 40% here unless he likes doing this with complete air, which he might... but readless I'd at least assume he has some piece / draw. You don't have great equity ever, he isn't laying you a good price to call, and I think you rarely have any FE. |

Meh, just fold. If he bet like half pot I probably shove.

Fold, move on, you have few clean outs and zero FE.

Re: $2/$4 - facing shortstacks donkbet
i mean shortstacks are really [censored] annoying...and i can understand why you might want an excuse to kill him, but this isn't the hand to do it with. i feel like even if he has a flushdraw it's gotta be close to 50/50. so best case ur 50/50, worst case, ur way behind. and losing money to shortstacks is the worst thing u can do.
