2/4 QQ low board: villain donk pots turn
Villain is 12/9/3.5 for 100 hands, no notes.
What kind of hands does villain do this with? Hands up for calling a turn bet folding to a river shove? Hands up for just folding? Hands up for getting it in? No Limit Holdem Ring game Blinds: $2./$4. 6 players Converter Stack sizes: UTG: $177.30 Hero: $588.80 CO: $281.50 Button: $326.10 SB: $345.80 BB: $99.10 Pre-flop: (6 players) Hero is UTG+1 with Q[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] Q[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] UTG folds, Hero raises to $14, 2 folds, SB calls, BB folds. Flop: 6[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] 8[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] 4[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] ($32, 2 players) SB checks, Hero bets $27, SB calls. Re: 2/4 QQ low board: villain donk pots turn
I usually call this and see what happens on river, probably c/f, though it depends on bet size

Re: 2/4 QQ low board: villain donk pots turn
Call the $86.
After calling, fold or call on the river (but don't bet) depending on what it is and how much he bets. For example, a 5 or T or heart plus a big bet from villain is probably a river fold. Most other cards, and small bets from villain, are probably a call. |

Re: 2/4 QQ low board: villain donk pots turn
This looks like 89... or a bluff trying to rep 89... maybe even a slowplayed straight scared of being outdrawn. In either case you will most likely be facing an even tougher decision on the river. I like a fold here without a read.

Re: 2/4 QQ low board: villain donk pots turn
He doesnt have 89, he's 12/9. I think you should fold the turn here since calling here and folding to a river bet seems like burning money. If you have a read that he does this with TT/JJ type hands but will then check the river, than calling the turn bet seems ok.

i fold turn
i think its safe to assume that bets like this are ahead of 1pair hands until you see otherwise |

Re: 2/4 QQ low board: villain donk pots turn
i think, given that he's 12/9 and called here from SB, that he has a set and has, for whatever reason (maybe the board is getting too drawy and he wants to protect his hand) he has decided to lead out. i think overall, calling just hoping for a cheap showdown on river is -EV, given his aggression factor.

99 ? A set scaried by the board ?
Fold for me... Or call/call, but bad, imo. |
