Re: was villian too passive for me to raise the flop?
21 hands isn't a read. What had he done? I can go either way with the river bet but I'd imagine your cooked.

Re: was villian too passive for me to raise the flop?
this is pretty crazy, what do you think he calls with on the river that you beat?
i fold preflop pretty much always flop i generally just peel here.... but yeah raising cant be too bad turn and river are so marginal.... (i definitely dont hate any of this hand) |

Re: was villian too passive for me to raise the flop?
yeah, i probably should've folded, but been playing, and folding, for a while and these were the best cards i had. not a good reason to play them i know, but i had a moment of weakness. i was wondering more about the flop, but looking at it, river was a pretty bad bet. damn, i'm on a pretty bad streak. oh well, variance is a bitch.

Re: was villian too passive for me to raise the flop?
Flop raise is ungood.
River is bad. It isn't the worst river valuebluff ever, but it's pretty bad. You need gangster reads like he's paying off A high when it doesn't make sense and more importantly he'll never fold a pair + he leads with any piece to make this river value bet profitable. |
