Re: NL600 AJ meets dangerous board
read on villain? seems well played w/o specific reads as I cannot see raraising the flop being good unless he is a maniac.

why wouldn't you shove flop???? i would shove flop... [/ QUOTE ] I like a fold more than a shove on the flop. I think I like a call best too. I dont see villain ever calling with QJ, and I think villian shows up with the best hand alot. |

Re: NL600 AJ meets dangerous board
Get it in on the flop. He can call with lots of combohands that you are a favorite over. His range is very heavy on those hands and light on hands that beat you, but you hate half the deck, so calling feels meh. There is basically one hand that beats you, or do you think he plays AQ like this preflop a lot?

He has things like KQcc/Kxcc/QTcc/Qxcc/T9cc a lot though, and he is calling with a lot of them. And we don't mind if he folds. Calling just feels very meh, since the turn will be very hard to play (or basically we will have to give up) on about a million cards. |

Re: NL600 AJ meets dangerous board
if villian is standard tag than i cant see any hands he would raise this flop with that arent either ahead of you or have a good chance to outdraw..ran possible range for villians hand on pokerstove..
Board: Ac Jc Qd Dead: equity win tie pots won pots tied Hand 0: 29.492% 28.78% 00.71% 10258 253.00 { AdJd } Hand 1: 70.508% 69.80% 00.71% 24876 253.00 { AA, QQ-JJ, AQs+, KcQc, KTs, AQo+ Board: Ac Jc Qd Dead: equity win tie pots won pots tied Hand 0: 38.045% 37.33% 00.71% 15522 297.00 { AdJd } Hand 1: 61.955% 61.24% 00.71% 25464 297.00 { AA, QQ-JJ, AQs+, KcQc, KTs, QJs, AQo+, KTo, QJo in both cases ur well behind a reasonable range for a standard tag, even in hand 2 throwing in QJs & QJo into his range it still doesnt look good, still dont mind calling flop, turn fold is pretty easy i think. |
