This is (or at least should be) absolutely correct. However, in this case that's not the issue; Mr. Tilt demonstrated clear intent to muck his hand. In previous instances, he had mucked losers in exactly this fashion. That one card turned over demonstrating that he was, in fact, mucking the winning hand, does not change his intent. It's beautiful poetic justice, but that's not relevant to the ruling. He did not table his hand, had no intent to table his hand, and mucked. That kills his hand and hero wins the pot.
