I guess what I wanted to get at is that if I've been at the table long enough to know he's a decent TAG, I should have some idea on how he plays postflop, which is going to cause me to widen my range against him since I have a handle on his play. The exception would be if he's quite tricky and I'm just going to end up spewing against him often or folding the best hand quite a bit.

I suppose my default TAG defending range is something in the neighborhood of 22+, ATs+, AJ+, 76s+, some suited one gappers, but that's pretty flexible.
