Re: *OFFICIAL* December Goals Thread
F this, time to stop messing around. I keep cashing out to pay for needless stuff and as a result, have ended up at 50NL for way too long.
60K hands of 50NL 6max.
60K+ hands of 100NL 6max....

Re: A very interesting spot-- 50nl
Dex,
You play good. But, having played with you, I know for a fact that you are thinking way more about these hands than pretty much all of the multi-tabling regulars. And while it will probably...

Reads? Why does nobody post reads anymore?
But yeah, obviously folding isnt an option. Shoving flop is fine.
Probably shoving >> calling minraise in position...

Re: AA NL50, tricky board
No reads? The limp/call/check min-raise flop is a standard donk line. I think I raise this drawy board. But once you decide to just call flop, rest of the hand is fine.

Re: AQ oop min raised on flop, turn he shoves.
Wow. Hand 1 seems pretty rough to me with no reads. Obviously bet more on the flop but you know that. I think I'm willing to get it all-in vs an unknown on the flop.
The turn makes it an obvious...

Re: Interesting \"Gigablock Call\" (Stars 1k SNG)
I disagree that the chips gambled with here are otherwise valueless.
The difference between hero's chips here and the chips of the shorter stacks will often allow hero to make more +EV pushes,...

Re: 1k to 10k. A simple project.
Whether or not 50 buyins is enough or not is up to your tolerance for risk, but those who think it is impossible to go on a huge downswing without having problems in your game are simply wrong.

Re: Playing low limits and ICM
On what basis are you expecting these players to knock each other out? This expectation has to come from the SB's push range and the BBs calling range, not just you hoping that this is going to...

Re: PS (27): did I overplay this TT hand?
This isn't really overplayed to me. Your hand is very strong here on this river.
Only misplayed street, imo, is the turn. Villain's flop call didnt give you much information, but should be reason...

Re: $60 - AK TPTK facing scary action
Stuff like this is so frustrating as the hand ranges vary so much from player to player.
Hand ranges can be ATs, AJs/AJo, AQ, A7s, A5s, 55, or 77. Wider for a donk, tighter for a good player.

Re: PP $11s: Is my ace good here?
Not an autocall against the player described. Most players loosen up substantially heads up, especially if you're constantly pushing into them, so it's doubtful you're throwing away much $$$ by...
