Re: CTS did something like this in his video
Like the CTS referenced hand, I think this could be a good example of a turn bet that needs a small fold% to be +ve ev given villians likely calling range and frequencies.
I say could be because...

Re: NL 100/200: how much should i focus on image
To really know if you have a problem here you need to also look at all the times they folded to the shove or called with a worst hand/big draw. Additionally, for observant opponents, your cbet p&l...

Re: 200nl: 3 bet AK vs 2 tight players...BOTH call, AK UI on flop
It sure looks like they both could have medium pp, possibly small pp/AK.
I think you get called by overpairs (especially with a club) for the cbet to be +ve ev here. However, I think you have a...

Re: How often are your pocket kings up against pocket aces?
I'm not sure it's this straight-forward:
(i) by the time you work out your opponent has a masssive hand it's often too late to fold KK for 100bb stacks preflop, e.g. you raise to 5bb, opp reraises...

Re: TPGK + 2nd flush draw in multiway pot
I think you should raise. You want tricky to define his hand further (preferably with a fold) and tighty to fold a flush draw.
Bet $100 - slightly over pot-size. If tricky pushes and tighty folds...

Re: AK semi-deep plan from the flop onwards
If villian is decent then I think the most you are getting out of a worse hand right now is one value bet or further bluffs. If you reraise and get action/calls then you are hoping villian has AA.

Re: 400nl AK flop decision.
I'd make it a pot-sized $68 preflop to price out small/medium pps (in this and future hands where I have a big pp).
As played a lot depends on how strong villian is and how he sees your 3 bet...

Re: (100nl) - Bottom set foldable here?
Given your read and villians call, I would say most of his range is 88/JJ/T9/87h/JTh/AKh/AQh maybe QQ and a little bit of AJ and even less KJ
I would be puzzled by villian's call on the flop with...

Re: Flopped Top full - deep 2/5NL
My thoughts fwiw:
From your read of UTG I guess much of his range after his flop check is AK/AQ. Button could have a wide range here and your only read suggests he might be aggressive. So, it's...

Re: (NL100 )- QQ, big 3bet pf cold called by regular... now what?
He ought to have a big hand here as you suggest but you do often see TT/JJ/AKs/AKo or sometimes a small PP (hoping MP1 calls) even from solid multi-tablers.
Unless villian is fairly passive I...

Re: NL100 - QQ deep against nutgrinder
If your preflop read is really correct then he has AK about 50% of the time here. You probably need to have a good idea of how he plays AA/KK here to know what is the best line. If he won't lose a...

Re: 89s - Is this standard?
You need to win about 42% of the time when called for this to be positive ($85 bet to win $200). The only real opponent hands for which this is not true or better are AdJd/AdKd (around 32% and 21%)....

Re: triple barrelling on a whim (NL600)
Easy to say this with hindsight, but on the flop you should realise that your opponent doesn't have the stack to effectively triple barrel.
Given this you should probably maximise the fold equity...

Re: $50nl - AJ vs. Insane Clown Posse
I would probably value bet the turn here against a villian like this and call a push. If he continues with the hand I expect his range to be worse pair + heart more often than a better hand.

Re: AK flops two pair against tight pf reraiser
Reraising pre-flop is little tricky here given stacks. If you make it say $8 and villian pushes you should probably call and if he calls he will probably push his remaining $9 into the $18 pot giving...

Re: PokerRoom Rake/Player Points Change
I see that too. I think you used to get 0.07 points for every 10c in rake up to the $3 max (2.1 points).
It seems like they have effectively taken player points away from the micro limits (maximum...

$1/2 6 max, deep - push trips into pf 3-bettor with trips
I've been lurking a bit and have decided to get more active to improve my game. Any comments appreciated:

Re: AK TPTK and NFD RR pot
Without reads at this level, a looseish villian could easily have KQ/AK/AJ/99+. If there hand contains a diamond then they might easily raise/call here. AK might raise anyway.

Re: 2/4 NL i dont think he has anything..
If SB is solid pre/post-flop then this may be a slow-played trips gone wrong or even a big PP with a spade that he decided to trap you with.
If SB is loose post-flop then maybe add pp hands like...

Re: 22 set - Flop fold thoughts
OP, surely villian has a much bigger chance of having TT->QQ, AhKh, AhQh than 99/33 BEFORE the raise on the flop - I would put it at about 90%/10% (possibly more given the 9 and 3 on the flop).
