Re: Angelo: Fastrolling
I'd like to present an argument for fastrolling. It comes up most in Omaha, but sometimes holdem. If you show your hand your opponent might not realize he has it beat. Maybe he backdoored a flush...

Re: the 2nd nuts, first for low then for high.
Buzz,
You say that you are against 2 opponents when you do your analysis, but I think that is not really right. There were 5 opponents who saw the flop. If, and I am assuming your math is...

Re: Live 40/80 TT on button, tough flop spot.
I like betting the flop because checking feels really lame. I think it is worth one small bet to isolate the all-in and pervent the other player from outdrawig me for free or bluffing me out on the...

Re: Turn decision #2
Is this kind of bet on the flop from the small blind automatic?
Is it a necessary sort of deception or actually for value?
I recall reading in HPFAP (or one of that group) that handling a hand...

Why not stand pat on third draw on hand 1?
Is this bluff is better than drawing 2?

Re: 10/20 welcome back jloc....
PFR - Very reasonable, maybe even clearly right.
Flop Bet - Total spew. 6 of 7 players called. These are donks playing any 4 and probably chasing anything. No fold equity here and your flop...

For starters, I raise preflop here I also raise the flop.
Despite the action by the SB, I think I am ahead one way or the other. I raise this turn. My guess here is that the SB has trips but...

Not sure where to ask this one....
I've seen advertisements for WPT Poker School and other similar poker "camps" Has anyone done one? Was it a worthwhile experience?

Re: results
I don't see how getting a tiny showdown edge by calling with 9s7s can be correct, unless of course, we are actually going all in!
We are OOP!
We cannot expect to play perfectly or even close ...

Which choice on turn?
Playing a game with few pre-flop raises, but somewhat aggressive post flop, I get dealt KhKd on the button. After 5 limpers, I raise. All but the SB call and we see a flop with 7 BBs. (assume SB =...

Re: Matusow\'s O8 article
I disagree with Matusow's overall statements, but there are some interesting points that are tangent to all of this.
First, what does a re-raising hand in O8 look like? It seems like one might do...

Re: Should I fold somewhere before the river?
Good hand for discussion...
Not because it is a freak or anything, but because it is such a common situation in O8. The PFR is good in a tight field for sure and probably not so bad even in loose...

Re: need help in omaha h/l
Lets not forget about AA.
AA without help sucks in O8.
Even one nut flush draw is just marginal.
i.e. AsKsAd8c is a very marginal holding.
Maybe someday I'll just fold it and be done with it.

Re: The Turn
That 2nd ace is a bad card.
The call from the PFR looks like one of two things:
Big Pocket Pair or slowplaying AK or more
If he has a hand like JJ, the 2nd Ace will keep him in the
hand because...

i like 3-betting the flop as well, these blinds seem like exactly the type who are going to fold overcards to a 3-bet.

Re: Huge odds V.S. reverse domination
In this kind of game, why throw gasoline on a fire.
Raising with AQ off seems like a poor play.
Your all-in equity may be good, but the re-raise might
be a hand that dominates you. You did say it...
