Re: NL 100: Monsterdraw: Am I getting out of line here?

You guys are right. I saw a pair + flush draw + gutshot and just fell in love with it. Oh well, this is my overplayed hand for the day. Thanks for the input.

Re: 50NL TPTK meets some resistance

Baluga Theorem says you have to fold the turn. Against such a loose villain I bet the turn hard again, and give up when he likes his hand too much.

Good use of the check raise. Did he call?

[/ QUOTE ]

Yeah, he flipped over Kings. I hit my straight and he called me a donkey.

Re: Playing 65s aggressively

I realised that it makes a lot of difference whether he had a full stack to start with, or just $80 in this case. You have a lot of FE, because in most cases villain holds a hand here on which he...

Re: TT flops 2nd pair + straight draw

I thought he might take a stab with whiffed hands like AQ and AK if checked to. Downside is that I give him a free one if he decides not to. But that's only 2 cards I'm afraid of.

Re: AKs vs some strange line.

If villain limped pre and then donked this flop, I'm much more inclined to raise. Villain can take a stab at this pot with a lot of whiffed hands as well as pocket pairs. I found that raising in...
