Why it's so hard for the check to clear the bank?? Do you guys have any problems clearing the bank?

The one I got is in US$. It's from Lancore Merchant Services.

Payable at
Dora. Banking Center
Beirut, Lebanon

It was rejected by BOA due to the foreign check.

What should I do?

I finally got my check this week, but I was not able to deposit it into my bank of america account because it's a foreign check.

Does anyone know how to deal with this?
