I agree getting raised on fourth sucks, but should I really be checking there? Is giving up a free card better than maybe getting a fold if villain loses his mind (because he really never folds here,...

No particular reads. Two, three players off the bubble in HORSE tourney. I'm above an average stack, villain is among chip leaders.

bump for results - I led for half pot, villain folded. I wanted to make it look like "I'm protecting a decent TP hand but will fold to a jam" - but no joy.

No real reads on villain, probably just an average player.

Thoughts on line?
Raise or lead flop with big draw, or ok just to call and see another card?...
