Re: valuebluffing

I'm the poor soul that got so well bluffed off this hand.

Out of interest what range should I need to call this bet?

(p.s. I had Q /images/graemlins/club.gif T /images/graemlins/club.gif)

Re: QQ near satalite bubble

shes92, your overestimating villains range. Because this is a satellite and their pretty close to package i think villains range is basically

JJ+ and AK. Even if we know he has AK it'd...

Re: QQ near satalite bubble

I dont have any specifics on villain, just that the table's been pretty tight. I'd been raising from all positions, with no show downs (and virtually no flops), but I hadn't been completely...

QQ near satalite bubble

$100+R online qualifier to live event. There are 7 packages (worth $2750) and 7th gets $1650.

We're down to the last 15 players. I'm 4th with about 35k. Average is about 22k. I'd come back from a...

$2-5 KK in Bad Spot

Dont have any specific notes on my opponent here. He seems reasonably solid: tight and slightly passive. Over 250 hands he's running at 18/7/1.2

Crypto $500 NL 6 handed.
I have $500. Villain...

Re: £2/5 Did playing the bigger game affect my thinking?

With AA, I think the pot odds on the river still justify a call, although it's much tougher, as you're now losing to any set/ 2 pair.

I'm also thinking about the best way...

Re: Very thin river push with flush on paired board multiway pot and

Given you're small sample size on villain, you possibly can't assume that he would have raised two pair on the turn. I think just call the river.

Re: £2/5 Did playing the bigger game affect my thinking?

As an interesting aside, what's everyone's line from the flop onwards with A/images/graemlins/spade.gif A/images/graemlins/club.gif instead?

Re: £2/5 Did playing the bigger game affect my thinking?

Who ever said that I should stick to £1/2 may well have a point, but I'm gonna give my 2p on the situation anyhow!...

In the heat of the moment, if I'm honest, I checked becasue I didn't know what...

Easiest call in the world, folding is horrible, btw you should push the river.

£2/5 Did playing the bigger game affect my thinking?

My usual game on the cryptos is £1/2 but I was taking a shot at the £2/5. I dont have much info on my opponent, although he recently got stacked with a QQ overpair against a flopped set. Otherwise...
