Re: Call an all in with KQo ? !

You bet 40% of the pot ... on the low end, but that's OK. I would put you in the range of what you had... KQ, maybe AT or A9. If I was him, I would expect you would fold to my big bet.

Anyway,...

Re: How to play a set here?

You have to push. You can't let him have good odds to hit spades.

Re: Finish it?

you're much to weak to reraise PF. I would probably fold from the SB. If you wanted, call to see if you hit trips, and check it down. Maybe a blocking bet, but you can't put any real amount into...

Re: Live 2/5 NL- huge pot with AKo in position.

it's a $5 table and the pf pot with 2 players is 90 BB ... sounds like a monster to me! He could also have TT, that would explain his comment and his check.

At this point, you either have to take...

Re: 100NL What\'s the Standard Line Postflop?

for 3% of my stack against an unknown player, I'd prob raise 25% of the time, folding the rest, depending on how I felt.
After that, the flop call is fine, but a lead bet would have been better. ...

Re: 100NL Passive line with KK

Yes, you should have bet the flop. What would you have been behind? AA, QQ, AQ, 44, KQ, maybe QJ

After the river you are behind any 2 clubs, 99, 88, 98, plus the above

So, yes, I'd fold...

Re: TPTK in reraised pot...

don't know what 'bbv' is ...

He could have 2 hearts ( as could you from his eyes ) or QQ, or maybe 99. You are way ahead of the rest. I would go broke here. Push it all in. Make him have the...

Re: Playing 77 from BB

Heads up, the chances that he has a J are slimmer than A or K. Put $10 in and try to take the pot now. If a J came ( pot would be $36 ), either check raise or lead out again, depending on your...

Re: Just to confirm.....this is what we do, right???

if you limp, you have to fold.
I agree with the rest of the posters .. you should have raised PF to thin the field and take initiative since you are EP.

Re: Playing 77 from BB

oops ... I'd have bet the turn for sure.
I meant "I'd have bet the flop for sure."

Re: Playing 77 from BB

What makes you think you are more beat here than after the flop? The only hand is 6x. You virtually hold the nut straight draw ( assumes no one else has a 7 for 87 or 74 ), plus an overpair.

I...

Re: 100NL, close AA river decision

agree with McRoNiX. I thought Ax d and a bluff at the pot when I read the HH ... I'd shove here. Pay him off if he held one of those few hands that beat you.

Re: AKs against 2 fish

I think you should have put a continuation bet in after the flop. With 5x BB raise, the flop still likely missed the other 2 players.

Now you have no idea if you are losing to 88 , 97, 32 or...

Re: bad call on the river?

I think what set me off was that BOTH villains turned over A-T ... completing the nut straight for both of them ... leaving them to split my dough :-(

Re: ak blind battle

agree with jordiepop ... you need to see all 5 cards, and his previous play doesn't indicate super strength.

Re: set facing tough river c/r

yes, more value after the flop. However, I think I would have folded this river too. :-(

Re: 100NL AK OOP on Monotone Flop

there's $40 in the pot, and you'd push $160 in?
Reraise to $75. His all-in will let you know where you stand. Not that it matters, as I'd push all in then. However, let him make the hard...

Re: Is this ever a Q?

yes, can happen. It is me live the other night. I have $120, villain had 140 on a 1/2 table. I had 98 in BB. Flop came 99J. Villain bet 1/4 pot ( he was drunk ), I raised up to full pot. He...

I like "instacall" ... I already had the "call" clicked before Villain2 had called. I'll post results later.

Re: 200NL - River play deep with a set of jacks.

I like the smaller bet. A pair isn't much to call more with, and if someone has a set or made their gutshot, they should raise. I would be a bit wary if a raise came back around, but I'd shove...

bad call on the river?

Hi,
just played a hand, need some help with the analysis ...
just sat down at a 1/2 6-seat table at PKR.com, so no hand converter. My only real read was the player to my right (Villain2) played 2...
