Re: good spot for value bet?

First thought was that it's an easy valuebet.. then I noticed that you have 3 opponents - insane. You should have all of them outkicked, but it's too possible that one of them has a 7 and some other...

Re: 25 NL-King High Flush Draw on Monotone Flop

I'd put him on Ad, could be even AXd, easy fold for me. Though there's the possibility for him to just scare fourflushes away after flopping top pair or even a set but scary board and reraise is...

Re: 10 NL QQ tuff spot

as most have said, 70/8, easy fold even with that hand. At most you'd want to see the flop but if you dont hit a set with Q high board, easy fold.

Re: NL5 - 9 10s

Stack him. He either has an overpair or set/trips. No way he'd called that preflop raise with J8 or J5.

Stack or potsize, but I'd prefer stacking because he does really look like hes begging to...

Re: 25 NL: Interesting spot with a set deepstacked

I'd say pocket pair, the question is if he hit a set or not.. I would check behind here, he's not raising 12$ on 5$ to see a cheap showdown out of position.. either he's bluffing or he hit his set...

Re: 50NL QQ Overpair to unisuit flop

Minraise with 85 VPIP and 25 PFR, highly unlikely he's holding hearts or 67. Might have put you on flush draw or gutshot and just bluffing you out. Your cbet and turn check yells for missed flop. I'd...

Re: June/July results/goals

June: Started playing more / reading theory (pretty much break-even..)
July: Time to start raising my bankroll, probably staying at NL10 (6max) though until 500$~
oh, and another goal for July is...

Re: NL .25 OOP ATo

Without any reads its pretty hard to say. I'd guess TPGK. No way there's 53 in after that PFR. Another possibility is a set.. UTG and BB limped, small cards on board could mean that they had pocket...

Re: Calling range in this spot

I'd call with anything that can beat pair of aces. Set prefered but ace with a good kicker should work fine. A bit desperate move, probably just trying to steal your 4$.

Re: 25NL- Push turn with JJ?

somehow I'm getting the feeling that you're already against a set or AA/KK. And the pot is so big that both are probably committed. If he checks to you I'd just check and see what's the deal..

Re: One has to start somewhere. $0.04

[ QUOTE ]
No man...the raise to .16 pre-flop is fine. 4BB's +1 for each limper = standard. I was saying the .29 you bet on the flop should have been a bit bigger.

[/ QUOTE ]
ah, read that one...

Re: What poker tools do I need?

[ QUOTE ]
PT for sure ... I think the only stats micro stakes players should use is VPIP/PFR/#hands/aggression by street. Should just be learning the game, not try to become an 8 tabling hud bot. ...

Re: One has to start somewhere. $0.04

[ QUOTE ]
I'd bet a bit more on the flop...like .35. After he raises you your 3bet has to be much bigger...close to all-in if not actually all-in.

[/ QUOTE ]
The reason for .16 was mostly the...

Re: One has to start somewhere. $0.04

Hmm, good point about the rr. Haven't really read anything about what size a reraise should be and because there are so few rr's when playing NL5 & NL10 that I haven't really even thought about it....

One has to start somewhere. $0.04

First of all, first time poster here so o/ everyone. (who actually ended up reading a topic that had "$0.04" in the topic..)

As you can probably see from the limit I'm playing, I haven't played...
