i think its possible that 54s could win for someone more than AQ AQ can lead to danger while 54 can be played light but when it has a good board itll be able to be played strongly. It depends on the...

okay i say fold preflop. your hand is weak and if you go up against A9 or better you will lose a lot. Learn a tight preflop strategy and learn about continuation bets, value bets, and hand reading.

Once you have a read id suggest not taking it back. The opponent saw your aggression and let you pot commit yourself. Once you decided that he was on JJ or 99 you should of shutdown.
