Re: $11 AKs early on

Don't worry about it. Sometimes that's just the way the cards fall. You made the right move against these donks. I'd push this all-day given the reads.

Re: $16 - AKs bubble with bully

This is a tough spot IMO. I'm not quite sure what the correct play is. I probably would have limped it or min-raised it pre-flop to try to get heads-up with BB. What do you guys do here? Does anyone...

Re: PS 16$ Turbo, JJ in the early level ...

I think your pre-flop call was fine. On the flop, I would have led out with a bet of about 250-300. If villain pushed over my bet, I'd probably let this one go. I can't think that villain would be...

Re: $33 NLHE PokerStars - trips on the turn

Wow, that has gotta be one of the worst plays with AA that I've seen in a long time.

Re: $114 AK on the bubble

[ QUOTE ]
I'm just calling because of your read. Expecting to be called by much worse hands I would think negates your big stack advantage here simply because you are only slightly above his stack....

Re: Bodog $22 AQ UTG 5th Hand What to do?

I'd open-raise AQo to about 3x BB in a $22 here. That's about the minimum hand I would do it with UTG. You'd like to isolate opponents with a hand like this. If button then re-raised strongly, I'd...

Re: $16 55 boat on the turn..push river?

I think the line you took was perfectly fine. When you raised on the turn, the villain would likely assume that you have a jack that you slow-played the flop with. The fact that he called the raise...

Re: $16 - JJ 3handed, rusty

I agree with the other posters. Take a look at the situation: SB has shown wide ranges. If you were SB and had QQ-AA, wouldn't you want to min-raise to encourage a call? I think at worst you might be...

Re: $16s - 50/100, AJ on SB, can I shove over Buttons raise?

This is a tough call. Readless, or if villain had a tight image, I'd probably let this one go. I think a shove would be ok here against a known blind-stealer or your typical LAG opponent.

Re: PS 16$ Turbo AQ, I\'m such a weak player.

This is a fold. You have 18+ BB left and are facing a raise. There is no need to get involved here as you will be able to pick a better spot to get your chips in.

Re: ($12) TP2K OOP. Line check.

I like the 3x BB pre-flop raise. I like your flop bet, but I'd probably make it slightly larger, maybe 180-200. I definitely bet the turn about 3/4 pot to pot-size. At a $12, even shoving the turn is...

Re: $22s - flopped top set line check

Hey everyone,

I've been a reader of these forums for a while, but I figured it was time to finally post something. Mondonman, I like the line you've taken here. The only thing I probably would...
