Re: Raising limpers with nothing

I was saying that you can try stealing blinds from multi-limpers w/ nothing at small stakes. Keep doing it, and then let me know what your results are at the end of the month.

At these limits no. Maybe when you get higher up in the levels. I don't see how much you would make in the long run in regards to risk vs return against non-thinkers. You can...

Re: how would you play this river

His normal way of going about business against me is to call down with any pair, two pair, or draw then overbet or c/r me when he hits.

Check.

Re: [NL25] AKs 3bet against 2 villains

Yes, the flop shove seems fine even if he isn't short stacked. Often times you are still ahead on the flop unless he has a set. Just put it in there for a huge multi-way pot that you have the nut...

his stack being that short, seems fine.

Re: PocketPairs with raise and caller

Depends on stacks. If everyone had full 100bb, I would call based on implied odds as well. If they are shortstacks, fold.

For example, calling $1.25 in a .10/.25 NL game to win $25 or even more...

Re: 25nl: Would you ever flat call a flopped boat on river?

I don't feel i am that results orientated. I was fine after that, no tilt. Just wondering if people would ever contemplate flat calling. Everyone here just re-affirmed what I figured and did. Shoved...

Re: NL25 - Completely lost with QQ!

4bet yes, do you really want the SB around?

Flop bet fine, turn check fine, Bad river bet out. I'd check/call river most likely.

Don't know why he would re-reraise flop w/ a hand with more...

this just looks like this guy posted this cause he put all his money in and lost to AA

Not only because of this. I want to know the thought process more so than anything.

Re: NL 25- Good River Value Bet?

No reads, I check behind. What do you think he's calling you down with on the flop. I guess you might have Ax beat but you should be getting a good amount of value on the turn so that you can check...

Re: 10nl Standard play?

Flop play is fine, unless you've seen him do the min RR w/ tp any other kicker. Then I would definately put in the 3bet. What did you put him on while playing? But either way, if you were willing to...

Re: 25nl: Would you ever flat call a flopped boat on river?

I only feared AA because well, that's the only possible hand that could beat me on the river. During the hand on flop and turn, i felt he perhaps had QQ or JJ at the very least. But the river didn't...

Re: 25NL - A4 from SB

This one seems more player dependent and its tough without reads. Since we don't know why he's doing the flop RR. Could be with a flush draw or 2pr. He then bets even smaller on the turn, which could...

Re: 50NL; KQ turns TPSK; what to do on river on scaryish board

As played, since he checked the turn, I'd bet 7 or 8. He's almost never checking a monster to you there on the river.

Re: need a multiway river bet size

$4 or 5 for definite value. $6 at the very most.

Re: NL $25 QQ Bet into on the Flop

Re-raise to 7.50. What are you afraid of? Him having a set? Doubtful he's competent enough to bet out with one. I'd probably fold to anyone else's over the top re-raise on the flop though.

Re: NL25 - Betsizing check

Just regarding bet-sizing, I would go for 5.50 or 6 on the turn. 4.50 into 7.60 seems a bit small against a loose passive min-bettor.

25nl: Would you ever flat call a flopped boat on river?

If you fear that opponent might actually have AA? Villain is a standard player who has only been around for 10 hands or so.

Re: 50NL 6max: calling in pos and getting more outs on the way

I keep forgetting to add-in the stack sizes, he has about $70 to start and i had $50.

Also, is pushing the river another +ev play? I was actually thinking about it, but held back.

50NL 6max: calling in pos and getting more outs on the way

Not too much info on the villain except that he has been raising about 40% of the last 15 hands. I called since I was in position and seeing where he stood in case he was just c-betting. On turn,...

Re: Check Turn????

I just don't see him with KK, unless you figure him to be VERY passive and think that he will just check/call down his stack down to you.

Re: Check Turn????

Wouldn't KK, RR you strong here on the flop? Looks more like a QQ or JJ doesn't it since the cold call of $19 on the flop.
