Re: NL25 - Flopped 2 pair on danger board
I would have folded, it is clear one of your opponent has at least TPTK and the other a good hand (perhaps TPTK with flush draw).
I bet your two pairs were beated. Did they go to the showdown ?

Re: NL50: Combo draw 220bb deep
Not sure reraising an early pos raiser is the optimal thing to do. And after that, you can get a free card on the flop to complete your draw.
You got 15 outs, you are favorite but it is a...

Re: NL50 3 bet pot w/AA
The preflop play is standart, you got the best hand, you reraise.
The flop play is good, rainbow flop, no connectors, no straight draw (unless with Q10 or 810, 78, KQ) which is no good vs your AA...

Re: Preflop standard raising size
Hello Tyler,
I find your question very interesting and I was asking it to myself recently.
Some of your observations were made by 4_2_it too here...

Re: $50 NL KK against loose passive turn CRAI
Call, you got odds. I think I would do the same, SB might have 99, 88, 33, 22 or 89 but it seems he had tptk with a flush draw. It would give him 13 outs. A coin flip for a ~4-to-1 pot odds.

Re: NL50: 3 barrel this nit???
Hero raises ? It seems the villain was hunting a flush. Or he's a very passive guy and chips will come back later for sure.

Re: 50NL - Turn decision with 67s
[ QUOTE ]
I would not be so quick to count any clubs as an out. Getting it AI here means that you are probably a 3-1 dog (unless villain has a bigger draw in which case you are crushed). Take the...

Re: I fold TPTK to small turn raise
Hero beats AQ, KQ, QJ, AJ, A10, QQ, 1010...
Villain might have Adx or Kdx. KdQ, Kd10, Kd9. That's hard to say as he called preflop. His profile would help a lot. I personnaly do think he had a...

Re: Tough spot with 99
Hero fold ? A 3-way pot with second pair and some call of a 6BB raise pre-flop sounds scary. There is many pots to enter in easier.

Re: I fold TPTK to small turn raise
I don't know if his MINraise does represent a flush but it's difficult to put him on a hand here. And there is a river. Perhaps a reraised on the turn then a blocking bet on the river could have...

Re: AKo in the CO vs. SS
I am wondering if it is the SB's check on the turn which give you the clue he didn't get a flush or the nuts.

A raise on the flop or a reraise, and a raise on the turn or a reraise would have commited him for his stack. I am for the raise on the flop. And congratz Ashley for your nice quads top kicker....

Re: Bluffing the turn / river
I am not sure if the call turn is good. 3.5-to-1.5. You must win at least 30% and you have a draw with 8 outs. (0,17%). Btw, you can try to represent a flush draw (unless he is) and/or an Ax. I do...

Re: Call, hoping for overcall instead of raising?
Reraise and fold if he goes all-in can be a smart move. Only KK, K6, AK, K4 beats your hand. I don't think he would not raise the flop to give a free card for flush drawers, then he can't get AK or...
