Re: NL25: 65s turns a flush
I think it is reasonable against normal players at this level.
pf call with position on the raiser and suited connector.
on the flop, you probably had the odds, even discounting for a full...

Re: NL25: flopped Q-high flush on a steal
Another option is calling then leading the turn, but that could get scary.
I'm trying to learn also, so if anyone else would do anything differently, I'd be interested in hearing it.

Re: Bad call preflop? Then...huh?
My play preflop and on the flop would be the same, since the flop didn't really change anything. If you had seen this guy 3bet/4bet light (or do it often), it would be a push - otherwise it would be...

Re: NL25: flopped Q-high flush on a steal
I would probably raise this preflop also. It depends more on MP3, but usually a limper doesn't have that strong of a hand. Also, this is probably a hand you want to play with position, and a raise...

Re: NL25 Two pair but bad river card
I would bet the flop and turn here.
I try to always value bet strong hands at this level. Whenever I try getting tricky like this, I get put in a tough situation.
I call the river as played.

Re: KK overpair deep
I'm leading the flop because there are str8 draws out there in his range. I'd rather win the pot here than have to make a tough decision when a draw gets there.
I probably just call the river. ...

Re: Stupid call ?
I would fold preflop. KTo in MP1 is not very good.
Fold flop because are behind and there are still 2 real stacks behind you to act.

Re: QQ Reraised Pot, CRd on Monotone Flop By CS
Is it .05 or .10 BB? Do you have him covered?
Your read is that he calls down with draws. If you have seen him call down, but not reraise, I would probably fold on the flop reraise. Calling...

Re: Low straight on flop
Ooops, yes I meant K9o. This is a normal hand that I struggle with. Glad to know that calling is the consensus right play here.
Another related question. Is villain correct to push with JJ...

Re: Low straight on flop
I actually think you are behind more often than not, plus when you are ahead, he has draws to beat you. When you are behind, you have no draws.
With that said, the pot odds are too good, and I...

Re: 5NL calling 4bet push w JJ?
I vote for folding. You need a little more of a read to call this. If he actually makes this play with Ax or 66-TT, you can probably find a better spot to take his money.

Re: 5nl: open ender vs reraise
I like the CO raise with KJo, but you have to be able to fold it to a reraise. In the end, you put in 1/6 of your stack preflop OOP with KJo.
As played, I think it is a c/f on the flop just...

Re: 5NL TT vs overcard line check
I like the flop raise because of that weak lead. I also like the check behind on the turn, though. First I want to keep the pot small with an average hand. Second, I am only going to get called by...

Re: Playing it passive, 50NL top pair OOP
I would be tempted to bet $3. He could possibly fold a better hand if he was scared of the K or the diamond. If you check, he may take a big stab with the missed draw, which would make it hard to...

Re: A poll - Did I win this hand?
I like re-raising on the flop. Especially against someone this aggressive. With Aces, I want to get the money in sooner than later and would rather win a small pot than lose a big one by letting...

Re: 22, set, need help to extract
I like leading out here. Think of villains position. If you had AA-JJ and you raised before the flop, would you fold if someone led into you? I would probably reraise. What about if you were...

Re: All in with nut flush draw vs monster hand
This is an interesting hand. Many times I read that people are looking to get it all in post flop with the nut flush draw and two overs.
With this board, what would he min-raise with preflop and...

Re: 0.25/0.5 NL AA FOLD TURN?
I think I would pfr $2, but it wouldnt make a difference here.
The flop looks good to me.
I would check behind on the turn. I like keeping the pot small with 1 pair. Besides, you raised on...

Re: $50 NL - AA with monotone flop
I am trying to learn along with you. I always have trouble with AA. Anyways, here is my opinion.
I agree that a bigger pfr would be best. With a raise to $1 in front of you and a caller, you...
