Re: \"Official\" Live at the Bike thread (8/30) (20-40 NL w/ Phil Laak)

Ok guys - prepare for me to blow your minds - you get a piece of cardboard and cover the hole cards for the ten hands or so that you could try it for - Bart could look at the screen - pick the most...

Re: \"Official\" Live at the Bike thread (8/30) (20-40 NL w/ Phil Laak)

Or one of you could do it and the other could look at all the hands and pick someone who is in and only tell the person who's turn it is his cards.

Re: \"Official\" Live at the Bike thread (8/30) (20-40 NL w/ Phil Laak)

The way to resolve the pro's and con's of seeing the hole cards issue and seeing if you guys have improved from it is to periodically commentate with you guys only being able to see one persons hand...

Pokertracker stats analysis please.

I am primarily a NL player but I would like to become a Limit player. My pattern has been to do a fairly substantial sample of my play (in this case 7500 hands)and then go back to studying Limit...

Re: help a lurker w/JJ?

If you don't cap pre flop and are going to be able to c/r that type of flop your getting a better impact for mine.

Re: River WTF?

To me thats's a C bet that has gone right for you and on the turn I'd be betting it for info. That way if you get called on the turn you only really have to decide if you put him on AQ - which to me...

Re: $25NL Pocket 5\'s -- standard preflop raise/fold?

You make so much at 25NL just trying to hit a set and then hoping like hell that they hit top pair that I like to keep them specifically for this play - I'd be getting in as cheap as I could -...

Re: AA play vs loose pf raiser

You've spent $34 after the flop, $10 first bet on the flop because it looked ugly - if you bet $20 there that's all the hand would have cost you with that turn card, and if the turn had of been...

Re: QQ 10NL Call River?

I have resigned myself to the outlook that if you are going to consider calling a questionable river when you haven't improved then your money is better spent on a strong play on the turn - I've more...

Re: Help me I\'m getting weak-tight!

I'm going through the same thing at the same limits - the only thing I have decided is that I never really conquered 25NL like I did 10NL. I won well at 25NL before I tried 50NL but not in the same...

Re: $50 nl pretty deep how did I do with this set?

I like the way that looks - in the light of that you just took a big pot off him before - looks like you are taunting him, that can just tip the scales your way for mine.

Re: Please evaluate my flop and turn play

I don't see a flop bet qualifying as a value bet in any way - to me the way it looks you are going to have to make your hand and dodge others at the same time - I'd be content to get a look as...

You know while Barry really stressed how troublesome it might be to see the hole cards, I can't tell you how much Live at the Bike has made me realize that every opponent isn't holding a monster -...
