Re: How would you play this on the river?

When leading the turn, are you looking for an opportunity to re-raise if you get raised on the turn or would you call if you're raised on the turn?

I began the hand with $89.75. CO began it with $54.08.

Re: General advice on moving to online play

All of the things suggested are good pieces of advice. I had a bit of bad luck my first time out (made the nut full house and lost to a straight flush, flopped a jack high flush with 10-J suited and...

Re: General advice on moving to online play

Thanks guys. That's good advice. I'm going to try that. In terms of bankroll management, how much of my bankroll as a percentage should I be using on each of the tables that I am playing?

Re: \"Starting Over\"

Dude, that's one of the best pieces of poker writing that I've ever seen online. I found it extremely helpful and I thank you for taking all the time and effort to write it.

Re: $22 - Broke w/JJ, standard?

There is a reason why JJ is called the death hand. I think I would consider smooth calling and seeing how CO reacts to whatever the turn card is.

Re: (22) Bubble push or call?

Good point about the 22 level being unaware of the check-down rule.

However, if you just call many times at the 22 level the BB will often just call as well unless they have a very strong hand,...

Re: General advice on moving to online play

Wouldn't that be MORE of a distraction? /images/graemlins/smile.gif I tried that once and ended up busting out of a STT very quickly and very dramatically. The worst part was I did a bad push, was...

Re: ($225) Fold straight on river scare card?

I think you have to fold. Either that is an unbelievable bluff for that level or you've been outdrawn.

Villain could have been slow-playing a flopped set that boated on the turn, and is pushing in...

Re: (22) Bubble push or call?

I call this. I also JUST call and hope that others call as well. I do my best to check it down if possible.

Yes, you may end up losing the pot with a strong starting hand for four players, but you...

Re: Do you push here?

I push it every day of the week and twice on Sunday. You're not in a position where you can afford to fold as you've said. In particular if you're playing a speed tournament.

General advice on moving to online play

I have a home game that I play every Saturday. I track my results and, on an average buy-in of $40, I make $77 profit every Saturday. The sample size is roughly six months worth of Saturday so I...

Re: Tuff Fish plays TIGHT.. TIGHT.. TIGHT

Kind of new here. One of your members suggested I should come here and look around.

My first question is, what software do you have running in the background there Tony? It seems very useful. Is...
