Re: EVERY final table hand shown was with Jamie Gold...

And FYI - I saw the PPV and they did a great job of editing, what you saw was what you got, not many if any significant hands were played between the others solo besides Kim getting waxed.

Re: A Look Back: Which WSOP ME Package Was the Best?

They got a duffel type bag with a couple of shirts in it as far as I know, but I didn't see it.

Re: A Look Back: Which WSOP ME Package Was the Best?

I won my seat through Party Poker for the third year in a row, where as the overlay was nowhere near the last two years (last year they even sent you any unused hotel money after the event) they did...

World Team Poker Tournament

I just signed up for this event and was wondering if any one else here had heard about it and was planning on attending it.

According to Joe Connor who is spearheading this many of the big name...

Re: I LOVE TO OPEN LIMP

Besides stating that you love to open limp, maybe explain why you do and the strategy you think it adds to getting you more chips, which is the name of the game.

Does this mean you like to open...

Re: Please cure my friend.

Seems to me you are outhinking yourself here in the hopes of 4X your stack.

If you get two or three limpers that then call this mythical 2K stab at the pot because they now caught a piece of the...

Re: looking for a site with tournament reports

I use www.thepokerdb.com (http://www.thepokerdb.com) alot but that is more for Player Specific lookups - You can then click on the tourneys t see detailed lists of all finishers that cashed in that...

Re: PP 33nl - QQ rears its ugly head once again.....

I love betting the odd amounts personally

but I am a sicko that likes betting 2559 if a guy has a 2560 stack!

Weird bets make people think "is this guy bluffing? sitting on the nuts?" and...

Re: Flush in sat, should I lay this down?

Has the villian been betting into draws? If not then I think you are looking at a set/straight here and not the flush.

Re: Pyrrhic Victory

Knowinf the scenario I would of called there to see what the SB does - Let him take control of the action as if he pushes and the BB calls you get out of the way and pray he takes it. You can't take...

Re: My name is not nath...how to proceed?

well if you are going to be the man then continue acting like the man by C-betting for at least 60% of the pot or more - put the pressure on him to think not you.

Re: TT facing scarey action

Everytime with this SB or just in general in other tables/tourneys?

It also depends on when in the tourney you are at and who this SB is - This seems like a pretty standard play in the SB with a...

Re: Anyone qualifying for the party monster weeklies?

[/ QUOTE ]With the standard MTT variance you have a pretty decent chance of NOT qualifying in 10-15 tourneys (altough you may cash along the way). I'm pretty sure I can qualify within 10 STT's at $5...

Re: (10$) Draw to nuts with one over

I'd bet about 4500 - 6000 here and see if we can build the pot up

And if he pushes over the top I am calling with the nut flush draw as well. Good opportunity to double up and have a very healthy...

Re: raise, call, all in?

I like a reraise here to 3600 to see if he is on a steal or will lay down small pockets.

If he comes back I believe him and run. The fact that he is tight standard makes this a much easier feeler...

Re: Anyone qualifying for the party monster weeklies?

I have qualified twice in 5 tries and I think the best way is not the SnG;s but the $22 MTT - They keep 92% of the prize pool for payouts (as opposed to like 82% and 62% for the $11 and $6) and the...

Re: 4.4/180 PS: JJ facing 3 all ins

Get out of Dodge as quick as you can and don't even look at the cards as if a J comes out you will think you made the wrogn play which you did not!

Re: Well [censored]. Getting chips in the middle stages of Stars 180.

Reading your description here of your fear of getting involved in this hand could be an indication of why you do well early (I assume you play the premiums and get paid off) but fade in the...

Re: When to put the brakes on?

Why would you put the brakes on - you have a stack now use it to avoid only responding to shortstacks who obviously have a hand too. If you put the brakes on all you are doing is allowing the field...

Re: Very Interesting Spot Approaching Bubble of FTOPS Event 1

I disagree with that as you coming back over the top is not going to get a half stack to drop his isolation attempt 90% of the time. Most players are going to call you once they have half his stack...

Re: Very Interesting Spot Approaching Bubble of FTOPS Event 1

I am not a fan here - you got a nice stack and only hands likely to call either have you way dogged or have the overs on you.

Why not call and see a flop and dance from there? It seems that many...

Re: Bubble play question

In a 1 table SnG I might walk away from this one as coming in the money 45% plus is the way to long-term success but in a MTT like this one 1 or 2 place sure has more long term success then hitting...
