Do you make a blocking bet here to control the pot size or do you check to induce a bluff from busted draws. Villian is a fish (60/0/0) who will call a pre flop raise with almost any two cards once...

You have to bet here and hope he has a 9, 6 or a pocket pair. If not, you would not have made any money anyway. Checking this flop would scream slowplay.

I call here. You only have to be ahead 35% of the time. You have the third nuts (excluding the Royal Flush). Villian could be betting a smaller flush. a straight or just bluffing.

Not to be the contrarian but the pot odds for the call are 1.4:1 meaning he has to be ahead 40% of the time. Here is the likely range for the villian: AA, KK, JJ, TT, 99, 88, 66, 33, AK clubs, AQ...

You fold. What are you ahead of? I fold pre flop in this situation. Against a button raiser I would reraise but not here. Also no need to bet $36. $20-$25 would get you the same result.

A fold to the reraise is not unreasonable. Once villian bets the $79 he is pot committed so he is really betting his full stack. AK is about all you are solidly ahead of. There will be better...
