Re: Ticketmaster Ticket Limits

I did this before, I think they're just trying to deter scalpers with threats that are fairly baseless, but I could be wrong.

Re: Is it time to get stacked or not?

Hand 2 is very close IMO. Don't we have to include big diamonds? If we include AKdd, AQdd, and 10s, then we're getting odds. Is that too lose?

Re: Preflop: SB/BB 10s reraised

Will, I know it's not that interesting, it just seemed like a situation that comes up a lot and I find myself stuck as to what to do.

Why do you think the CO limp matters that much to the...

Preflop: SB/BB 10s reraised

Villain is 19/14 over about 800 hands, seems to be solid, but not good. Multitabler. Out of position do you fold? Reraise? Call? All 3 options make me puke.

PokerStars No-Limit Hold'em, $1.00...

Re: P*ssywhipped Boyfriend Not Allowed To Throw Football

I'm friend of OP, and was at said event. A couple details:

1) The girl is not cute. Not ugly. But not whip-worthy, if such a thing exists.

2) Sadly, she wasn't saving him from embarrassment,...

Re: Passive Play Strategy

That's one strategy. The passive strategy is worth a try, FWIW. It's amazing what it can do to slow down aggression. Just call down top pair, no matter the bet size.

The other thing you can do...

Re: AK preflop and postfloplay

Yeah, it's just that Dan Bitel said he would shove into this, most people would say not to, and the guy folds anyway. I was wondering what the reasons to shove would be.

Re: AK preflop and postfloplay

And shoving on the flop? We're shoving 250 into a pot of 350, is the villain calling w/ 10s and JJ and AK enough on this flop? Or am I thinking about that wrongly? Is their range wide enough on...

Re: AK preflop and postfloplay

Dan Bitel,

Do you like the size of the 4-bet pre-flop, or would you go to a different size?

Re: nl100 TT hand wtfcall?

I see either 79, a weak 8, (98 or something), a weak jack, sometimes a pocket pair like 7s, maybe 9s...I guess given that range, is he not on a hand that beats you at least 28% of the time? I'd say...

Re: Stars 55K guarantee FT sweat

Thanks, nice run. Up to 4th in chips w/ 7 left. I don't want to think chop cause I think I can outplay these guys, but getting a guaranteed money would be nice.

Re: NL100 | River Value

Seriously have you ever seen somebody c/c a flop like that and then lead for half the pot and not have them bee on a flush draw or a weak TPTK? The turn play is spot on.

The question for the...

Re: 100 NL AK? Should I be shoving?

Einherjar, I'm inclined to agree with you but wouldn't a shove make more sense if you're willing to call an AI in there?

I feel like I don't shove, and that people don't shove, AK in that spot...

Re: Preflop - very important

I assume this discussion is the same for 22-66 and probably 22-77, but how do you change your proportions as we start moving up to 88-QQ? I think in that area there is a really interesting change,...

I too have some grey and I am 23. Fortunately for men, the fact that it makes us look older isn't a bad thing.

Re: Half Court Shot for a Car: Best Technique?

Generally, if you can get the length on it, the two or three running steps behind the line two handed shot is best.
