Practical effect?
Ok, I confess to being too lazy to read the bill and figure out for myself what it actually means so can someone explain to me the practical effect of this legislation?
What, specifically, becomes...

Re: AA hand, facing c/r on turn
with a flop that scary 2 pair is a big possiblity. I say keep the pot small and make 1/3 to 1/2 pot sized bets on the flop and turn.
PS U working double time posting here and SSSH?

Re: The Importance of Implied Odds
Look at Ivey at the table though. He looks like he's in some kind of trance, tuning out the whole world and just getting reads off his opponents. I don't know about you, but I don't have those...

Re: The Importance of Implied Odds
I was about to post the same question. My hunch is that the answer has something to do with controlling pot size. I’m moving here from limit where TPTK or an overpair is usually have very strong...

Re: Top set against huge river bet
I'm trying to put this guy on a hand; AQs, 9Ts are all i'm coming up with that could have you beat and I think AK is way more likely. It's a saying from a limit book, but i think it applies here:...

Re: unimproved overrcards; what\'s my line?
I just asked this in another thred, but why is AQs not a raising hand preflop? It's like the 7th most powerful hand in hold'em and it makes huge hands a lot. Or is it a positional issue i'm not...

unimproved overrcards; what\'s my line?
Here are two hands where I played AQs and kind of got lost when the flop missed me. The first to feel like I played correctly taking two good shots of a big pot, but getting out before I got stacked...

Re: in game autorate
That all sounds really good. I’m just definitely not at a point with my game where I can define these player types parameters by myself. I was wondering if anyone had a good qualifier for players...

Re: in game autorate

in game autorate
I'm a big fan of the autorate stats for PT, but in game it doesn't update players' autorate icon. You actually need to close all the windows in PT, autorate, then restart autoupdate to get an...

Re: A high value bet?
I cap the preflop then bet the flop and fold to a raise which unless he's tricky means something.
Your way all you've got is a bet and a call which doesn't really tell you anything. That said he's...

I'm working on unimprovd overcards too and i want to say drop to the raise on the flop but this doesn't seem horrible. My mantra on unimproved overcards is when you play them right you can make a...
