Re: Am I ahead of his range?

I put AQ in there too, I think. Even if AQ is not in his range, at 50/50 you gotta call with the dead money already in the pot preflop? Right?

Am I ahead of his range?

Villian is an unapologetic 6.4/6.4/2.5 over about 50 hands

Is the player in seat 3 the same player from your other post?

Re: Atlantic City

Thanks for the feedback. Do you know what is the minimum pot size for the kill to apply at the Taj/Borgata?

Atlantic City

I am headed down to AC for the very long July 4th weekend. I am planning on playing Stud, Stud/8, O/8, and/or Horse. The highest I would play would be 5-10. What is my best bet for a live game? ...

Re: middle pp out of position, riased on weak flop. (live)

I think your raise pre-flop was too big. I have played 1-2 at the Borgata and know that sometimes this bet can become standard. As played, fold to his re-raise.

Re: AKo

I hate those mini-raises pre-flop. I don't think you need to 4-bet flop. The call is fine. I don't think I push flop as it is relatively benign given preflop action and the 1 over card that can...

Re: AA

Given the villian is an unknown. I think for the most part this is fine. Although this may be an expensive lesson. The only thing I think I don't like is the turn bet. I think I check behind...

Re: QQ preflop boring retread 100NL

If you had not been 3 betting alot, I think you may need to fold to his 4 bet. Your initial reraise is too small. OOP I think 4x his bet makes sense. If he comes over the top of that, you can let...

Re: $200: KK push river?

Based on reraise and willingness to call you down, I would say he has AA. He may 3-bet AQ depending on his style. Tough to say without a read.

Why didn't you 4 bet preflop?

Re: AA vs 18/4/1, are we supposed to fold?

Combination of small sample (50 hands) and medium size stacks means no fold. PUSH.

His aggression numbers are low. If there was a bigger sample, I would probably put him on set, but, still a...

Re: Flopping 2 pair in BB facing aggression on the turn

I think you should let it go with his 0.68 what is he raising with?

Re: A-high flush, paired board, facing very large threebet.

The way he has been playing I can't see folding this.

Re: 100nl 6max: AQ OOP

Most likely it is a flush. If he had less, he probably checks. Villian should have bet less. 1/2 pot on the river is pretty chunky. How big a bet would you call here with AQ? $15ish?

Re: Raising War PF with AA vs KK and ??

Don't want a multiway pot, but, agree with earlier posters min raise here makes little sense (as you are offering good odds to call with pocket pairs). Although I don't think that min raises are...

Re: 100nl 6max: AQ OOP

I would give him credit for at least two pair. Based on your read that he does not get out of line post flop, large river bet means he's got the goods. I like your bets on the flop and turn, but,...

Re: nl200 6m: why do i never 4bet?

Hard to say unless I know what he thinks of you. If you have been playing LAGGY, I would 4-bet it. If not I like the call, it disguises your hand well. I would raise flop as played. 16/11...

Re: nl200 6m: 77 reraised pot

Preflop call is a bit hopeful. 24 hands is not enough to make a judgement.

I don't love the call on the turn, but, given the call I do like the bet on the turn. I don't think you needed to...
