Re: kts - a safe line?

Why not just call a 3-bet, you might have the best hand, although it is a pretty small pot...

Re: 22 , turned a set against a maniac

ARE YOU SERIOUS??? I haven't played for over 6 months and am a complete Donkey and this play SUCKS! If you lost to 99.. I feel for you, but it shouldn't keep you from playing the hand correctly.

Re: 22 , turned a set against a maniac

BET THE TURN!!! AND RAISE THE RIVER!!!! Set over set sucks, but thats poker. It doesn't happen often enoguh to worry about it... Not sure why he likes that river, 2-pair maybe? Maybe because you...

Re: Folded straight on river

Looks fine to me. No way to protect on the flop /images/graemlins/frown.gif. That Turn is scary. Hand is too good to fold on the turn, I think the river is a HARD fold, but its the right play. ...

Re: how terrible is this

I don't like raising with it UTG.. TP value is minimal as KQ/KJ are concerns not being in position.. Raising will not flush out these hands pre-flop.. I call UTG-middle, raise late. Where they...

Re: 77 against Loose passive

Call the flop. If no spade on the turn and he checks it, bet, if he bets the turn with no spade, it could still mean a A6 or K6, but folding isn't too bad on the turn with a no spade and a bet..

Re: Nut high vs. shootin\' sherriff

I fold the turn here, he's check-raising for a reason, and it can't be good for you..

Re: Mid Pocket vs 2 Opponents

Finally an easy one, call the raise on the flop... And call a 3-bet if its back to you. Fold to a cap..

Re: how terrible is this

[ QUOTE ]
Why play a hand like this preflop, if you dont like it when you flop TPGK... Your play looks good to me.

Dont open limp preflop as one suggested, that really would be terrible.
Not...

Re: how terrible is this

Yeah, he should have probably folded... Not a good hand to start with... I don't like raising it either, but calling IS worse..

Re: how terrible is this

I like it, could have just called preflop. But not too bad to raise. KTs plays better late and multi-handed.. Raising early makes people fold, but a higher King or Ace has you badly beaten...

Re: calldown or pitch?

Why not just call the 2-bet and check/call the turn? If villain checks the turn you can assume he's on a draw and if he misses you can bet the turn. If villain check/raises the turn its a little...

Re: It\'s time for a limp reraise! Party Party Party!

Why so tricky, keep pre-flop simple, if you wante to raise, you should have raised first, its a neat little trick you tried to keep this pot multiway which is the strength of this holding, truth be...

Re: Flop Bottom Set

I think your play is brutal on the flop, cap the flop, raise and call a re-raise on the turn, if your worried he hit his flush, just call the turn bet.

Don't be scared by another set, its just the...

Re: Just getting started

Thanks for the information, I'll check into my standard deviation and check back, I am just hoping I make it through this bonus ahead, and then my bankroll will warrant staying at these limits.

Just getting started

Its been a good 2 months since I've been able to play. Would it be a good idea, besides re-reading SSH, to play smaller limits for awhile until I get my bankroll up to 300 BB?? I have about 150 BB...
