Vegas over Valentine\'s day

My wife has a conference to go to in Vegas over Valentine's day and I was thinking about tagging along. I was curious what the vibe was like in Vegas during that time. Is it more crowded, less...

Re: Is bottom set ever \'foldable\' w/ <= 100 BB on a fairly dry flop?

I was trying to make this more a theoretical question than a hand specific question. Any thoughts are appreciated.

Is bottom set ever \'foldable\' w/ <= 100 BB on a fairly dry flop?

Most of the time when folks post a hand on this forum where they flopped bottom set, the advice recieved is to get all the money in as soon as possible. I almost always agree. Is there a situation...

Re: Trying not to get shoved around

I don't think you have a value bet on the river (assuming you don't straighten out) unless you have a read on him that tells you otherwise. On a board like that I don't see many people calling down...

Re: any 2 suited in the SB

You're numbers are assuming you go to the river every time and make a pair of threes on the river to scoop the pot, which of course you won't.

Re: KK baby

If we cap the flop, our opponent may go into check/call mode which we obviously don't want. Not capping PF was, and therefore disguising our hand, was more than made up for on the turn when the...

Re: 5/10: T6o MPNK river decision

I would bet the flop, bet the turn, check call the river. I don't like betting the river, it is unlikely villan will call with a hand you can beat over 50% of the time, and you might induce a bluff...

Re: poker/BJ bankroll

I understand that it doesn't matter what I call my bankroll. My question has more to do with the amount of bankroll required to play both games with an acceptable RoR. Do I need a $25K bankroll to...

No, I am referring to brick and mortar BJ and online poker. I want to know if one bankroll is sufficient for two, independant gambling endeavors. Is one $15K bankroll enough to play 10-20 hold 'em...

poker/BJ bankroll

I am a winning poker player and semi-new to card counting. I play 6 max limit hold 'em. I keep at least 500 big bets in my poker baknroll (about $10K) for the level that I am currently playing. I...

Re: Post your AF\'s

flop AF - 4.17
turn AF - 4.20
river AF - 2.27
total AF - 3.64

These seem ridiculously high, trying to work on not auto-betting after PFR, and calling more. Anyone else have AFs this high.

Re: Q9o on a steal - Do you like it?

I prefer to raise the flop, bet the turn (folding if raised), and check the river unimproved, you most likely have the best hand here. I have found that the vast majority of big blind defenders go...

Re: 88 on 543 flop facing a bet & 2 callers

I would raise pre-flop, try to knock out the button and blinds. Besides that I would have played it the same.
