SnG domination

I get some aggressive marketing E-mails from Bryan Micon and friends called "Sit and Go"-domination. Looks ok on paper, but is this any good? Worth paying for? If so, for what kind of player at what...

Re: WINNING --- loosing

"I think it is actually more likely" is very vague for me. What do you build this assumption on??

WINNING --- loosing

From mid July to august 20th I had a ROI of about 28 playing 11$ Speed Sit and Gos at Party. Played around 700 tourneys. Made good money. Then after 20th august, I suddenly started loosing. Get drawn...

Re: software question from a newbie

I have used both. First PokerOffice, then PT. I stayed with the latter. Both are great pieces of software, but I found PT more accessible. Besides, it has more addons and stuff, like Poker Ace Hud...

When to overbet?

In most situations- according to for instance Harrington, when you think you have the best hand, you should bet somewhere beetween 1/2 and full pot - to make it a mistake for a player with - let's...

Re: Return of the Big Green Limidonk!

IMO flop play is horrible here. First the miniraise, then calling the reraise. Preflop limping is also a mistake.

There was an interesting post the other day concerning the difference beetween regular and speed SNGs. (But a large nr. of the posts started dealing with multitabling ...) It is my distinct...

Re: VP$IP and other stats in low limit SNGs

Interesting.

Say for instance I catch JJ level one, mid position. Obviously no read on opponents. Early player raises 4xBB. It is folded to me. Should I call or reraise?

Re: VP$IP and other stats in low limit SNGs

Thanks for your time and interest. This range is much broader than I imagined. I don't play JTo though, but all PP, I must admit. Got to tighten up early, for sure.

VP$IP and other stats in low limit SNGs

Trying to beat 6 $SNG Speed at Party. Not doing too bad with a ROI of about 8 % after about 100 games. But I am trying to plug leaks, find weaknesses in my game, wondering whether I am playing too...

End up 2nd -- too often?

I have been playing SNG 6 and 11$ buyins at Party for a while. Doing quite well, my ITM percentage is around 40. Been running well, I think. The problems is, I have an overwhelming majority of 2nd...

Playing small blind

What would be an ideal "profitable" VP$IP for the small blind? I play the max 25, 50 and 100 buyin NLs at Party Poker. My general VP$IP is around 23% for the last 1000 hands. Thx in advance for...
