Re: River Belle Bonus
They tried to take me around the block. It was ridiculous. First it took them 4 days to manually credit the bonus (after waiting two for it to credit automatically) then they waited another two days...

Re: 50nl 6m - AA vs raise postflop
I think you end up all-in at some point during this hand, so why not try to take down the pot on the flop? An OESD will likely fold to your all-in reraise, as will a lot of the weak hands UTG may be...

Re: Button cold calls against AKs - 50nl
I just don't know if there's any other way I could've gotten all his money. He turned over T9o (what a champ), so even if he was thinking about bluffing at me later in the hand, I don't know if he'd...

Re: Button cold calls against AKs - 50nl
Thanks for the reply. This is my first hand post here. I think I probably could've gotten away with a bigger flop bet. Based on his previous play, though, I didn't want to push him out with hands...

Button cold calls against AKs - 50nl
Ok, basically I'm wondering how hard I should be pushing here. Button likes to bluff, I've caught him a couple of times before, but how does the hand look? Standard? Bet more on the flop and turn?...

Re: Individual Health Insurance
After a bit of searching, I found that website. It's www.ehealthinsurance.com. (http://www.ehealthinsurance.com.) You put in your age and a little bit more information and then they give you a bunch...

Re: Individual Health Insurance
There was a similar topic not long ago and someone posted a wonderful website - it was basically a search engine for health plans. I dug for it a bit a few days ago but I couldn't find it. I need to...

Re: Any Omaha traffic at Hollywood?
At this moment (just after noon central time) there's not very much O8 traffic. I would assume that there would be substantially more later in the day, however. There's a full-ring .50/1 limit game,...

Re: Poker Room Network?
I'm about to do the BW 5x 100% to $200 bonus for Hollywood. It can be done along with the refer-a-friend deal, so PM me if you've got a Hollywood account and would like to make $75. Looking to get...

Re: Confessions of a bored poker player!
I did Casino-on-Net some time ago. Talk about needing focus... geez, clearing that many bonuses must be ridiculous. You said you started out betting slowly... what did you end up betting?

Stud Games in Tunica?
I don't know if it would be better (or more appropriate) to post this here or in the stud forum, so mods please excuse me and move this if you feel it's best.
I just have one simple question:...

Re: Micro Stud Hi - I am ashamed of this hand
Not for one bet, no. Many times people will just cross their fingers and pray that you didn't boat up. Many players will continue to chase draws even against an open set like that. I can't see him...

Re: Microlimit Stud Hi
I agree with Andy for the most part. I don't think a raise here is terrible, as he could have paired an 8 calling 89j or be betting a 4 straight, but I still wouldn't fall in love with your hand....

Re: Micro Stud Hi - I am ashamed of this hand
Eh. That's a definite fold on 3rd st., any limits. Hearts are dead, too many nuts to your straight are dead, so you're left drawing to runners like your Qs. I also don't like the bet or calling the...

Re: Pot limit stud hand
I would certainly call with the straight. My thoughts would be a big pair under. His pot bets are there to push out a drawer like you - in my opinion low three straights lose a lot more value in pot...

Re: Pot limit stud?
I play PL stud at Prima. It used to be my primary game. The games seem to be dying off there though. The best you can usually find is one or two .25/.50 tables. Occasionally you'll find a .50/1 or...

On about a 200BB downswing right now. Going to take a break and then try to get things going again.
