Re: Live 10/20 standard AA flops overpair.
Range here is QK, AQ, QJ, a lot of the time + a FD. flush draw, 77 and 33. I almost always raise in this spot and fold if he 3 bets. Fold if he leads the turn and check behind if he checks. If it...

Re: PLO at WPT Biloxi or WSOP Tunica
Both Gold Strike and Binions had PLO running constantly in January during the WSOP/WPT in Tunica. Gold Strike had 2/5, 5/10/, 10/25 and 50/100. All of the games play VERY deep.

Re: winrates playing live?
I play a 1-2 300 game for about 25 hours a week for two years. My winrate is $43/hour over that time frame. There is a $5 pot rake.

Re: two live 2/5 hands
Calling a solid player's RR pf HU out of position with AQ is not the way to make money. Especially at Rockford, he probably was the only other good player at the table and you want to play big pot...

Agreed, this is silly. A whale is not even a fish. They should be called 'sturgeon' or...

Re: Crazy/Donkish
Don't play SH with a guy like this if he is going to run you over, there are better spots than SH or HU PLO with a hyper aggro. Get him at least 6 handed and sit on his right, so you can see how the...

My understanding of the term 'pot control' in NL is different from what your PLO hand suggests.
In NL I feel like it's keeping the pot small specifically to avoid facing a possible...

Re: Concept of \"pot control\" in PLO
In your example we need some more information. If it is a 6 max game and the PF raiser is very aggro and makes a c bet into your nut straight I would raise it up if the money wasn't super deep and I...

Re: Bellagio 5/10
More info please. Did Villan limp/call or was he a blind? What are the suits on the flop?
And how do you have 5.5k in a 1000 cap game if you've only seen one orbit?

What hands is he calling our PSB on the river with? Apparently we ruled out 98 when he checked the turn. Are we betting to get value out of A9 or the nut flush? If we are convinced he can't have 98...

How often do you play live cash games? Probably never. Reraising to isolate a fish is standard in live poker. There are so many more people who play live poker to GAMBLE. It's a race between the good...

There is a bar called "Rookies" that is basically a sports bar where you get a drink menu, a food menu and a weed menu. It is worth a visit.

I also play mostly live and don't three bet as much as the online players playing 6 max. I still do it with a wide range of hands, but I do it primarily to isolate a bad player who opens. 3 betting a...
