Re: Staking dilemma
Sunk costs are sunk; b and c should not pay anything for a's horse joining the team. This is basic and obvious. Also if the horse was such a great player then why would A want to lay the action off...

Re: WPT Niagara, Last hand before the break...
Congrats in WCOOP.
I'm almost ashamed for reraising u with AQ (my wife was yelling at me for a week).
If u r unwilling to see the river (for another 100XBB), then u should probably ch/call the...

Re: Need bankroll/tourney selection advice
You played ~125 hours over the 10 months and made ~7$/hour.
Since ur broll is only 800, I'd continue what ur doing.
You should be commended on ur restraint and moderation. You are not an addict...

Re: Interesting OPR stats
Variance.
This player's ITM is too high for him to be that much of a losing player, so he's playing very large field sizes; consistent with small buyins. he's not making big scores.
I'd look...

Re: A5s in blind battle.
Overall I think its inconsistent to limp an ace in the sb and bet big at any point. (3K on the turn). The 3K turn bet with the PF limp and flop check looks more like a 5 than anything else.

Re: Hand from Borgata WPT
Call; he has ak (possibly spades)
In general I think its unlikely that this player is an angleshooter, given ur read. Most likely he is fairly inexperienced and is trying to figure alot of things...

Re: WSOP DSO on Stars - Very Early w/QQ
I'd put him in on the turn.
If he has the ace u r going to pay him (likely only ak floats the flop or adxd) There are 20+ drawing hands if villain is OOL which will still pay you while they have...

Re: Satellite hand, down to the end
Ur usually way ahead or way behind by the turn.
Two pair is probably way ahead most of the time.
There are limits to villain's FE in every situation.
Villain's credibility is low because...

Re: Satellite hand, down to the end
If he has a small pair; it's going to be very difficult for him to play OOP against the big stack after the flop. There are too many hands for villain to call and relieve himself of having to play...

Re: Satellite hand, down to the end
Shoving 28XBB PF w/AQ is lame; esp as CL.
Folding the flop is EV- as villain's range includes hands without a K; raising the flop when u hav middle pair a gutshot; and an over is a matter of taste...

Re: Satellite hand, down to the end
Hero can afford to take a flop and give up on it without affecting his stack. His priority should be to keep the pot small and maintain his chip lead.
I think that raising PF is a mistake given...

locutus,
odd as it is i think i get what you're trying to say...which is that my small turn bet keeps my range super wide and weak including many draws. therefore you've decided you're...

Re: mlg is aggressive, right?
No, on the turn, I expect to get paid by AQ (partially paid) and KQ, and TT, (20 hands). The other hands I'm going to pay on the river anyways(AJ, JJ, 99, KK, AA).
I think villain's turn bet is...

Re: mlg is aggressive, right?
The purpose of floating the flop is not to hit ur 4.5 outs or so. It's to take the pot on the turn by representing the best hand. The Q here hits alot of hands. Think about what other hands u can...

Re: mlg is aggressive, right?
You need to pop pf, his range for raising to isolate is huge, and he's going to expect to outplay the pf limper in position.
Once u decide to float the flop then u r good to get it all-in on many...
